Christ Fellowship is a dynamic multi-site church in Miami-Dade County. The mission of our church is to help others follow Jesus.
We are currently searching for a full-time Communications Manager who will aid us in effectively directing the church's overall strategic plan for internal and external communications. Being a church averaging over 8,700 weekly attendees with 7 campuses and global venues, our communication strategy needs to be succinct, in line with Scripture, accessible to all who attend and visit, and also make sense to the outlying and "unchurched" community.
The Communications Manager will:
-
Unify and align communications.
-
Work with church and ministry leaders to develop communications processes and define priorities to create an environment in which messages can be communicated clearly, creatively and effectively to church-wide and specific audiences.

Ensure high-quality and highest impact communications are created for both internal and external audiences.
-
Supervise all areas of social media, create fresh and engaging content, campaigns, and keep the church up-to-date with the latest social media and online trends.
-
Manage website written content.
-
Plan, draft, prepare and execute weekly newsletters.
-
Cultivate, lead and manage a team of communications ministry volunteers (writers, photographers, social media, etc.)
-
Create and implement a strategy for becoming more visible in the community.
-
Keep ears open to stories of life-change within the church. Develop ways to creatively communicate those stories via video, interviews, newsletter, etc.
-
Will have strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. This individual serves as the "eyes" for all things print and electronic, looking for clear communication, brand presence, and consistency.
-
Will effectively handle crisis communications with the direction of leadership.
-
Be actively engaged in the life of the church by living out the mission and vision of Christ Fellowship.

-
Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) and creative thinker with the ability to use data to inform strategy.
-
